Grace Place for Children and Families has been selected as the beneficiary of the Council of Hispanic Business Professionals’ 6th annual gala event. This year’s event, “Latin Night,” will be held September 27th, 2014 at Wyndemere Country Club.
The event – historically attended by community leaders, elected officials, business owners and accomplished professionals – raises funds each year for a local charity that provides programs and opportunities for the Hispanic/Latino community. “Since building a prosperous Hispanic/Latino community is a core element of The Hispanic Council’s mission, Grace Place is a natural fit for this year’s beneficiary. It is a wonderful institution devoted to breaking the cycle of poverty in Golden Gate, by teaching literacy, language and life skills. We are thrilled to support their mission,” remarked Andy Solis, President, Council of Hispanic Business Professionals.
The event celebrates the rich and vibrant Hispanic/Latino culture of music, food, dancing and having fun for a noble cause. “Latin Night” will commence at 6:00pm with a special performance from the Grace Place Drum Circle. Carrying on with the Caribbean theme, guests will enjoy mojitos and cigars while swaying to the live Latin music of “Grupo Café.”
“Grace Place is honored to have been selected as the beneficiary of this year’s event. The Hispanic/Latino culture is one of love, family and community. We are excited to be a part of celebrating this beautiful culture,” commented Stephanie Munz Campbell, executive director at Grace Place.
Sponsors of the 2014 gala include Arthrex, IberiaBank, Porter&Wright, and Florida Community Bank. Tickets to “Latin Night” can be purchased for $75 on the Hispanic Council’s website at www.chbpnaples.org.
